WeRent is the easiest way for anyone to rent and lend non-fungible token (NFT) assets. Those who contemplate buying an NFT from a specific project can either rent the NFT and experience the utilities or benefits that come with the said NFT. NFT rentals will be for individuals that need an NFT for a specific period. Ranging from art to utility NFTs, renting will not be limited to PFPs.

NFT renting and lending on WeRent are ways to monetize or utilize digital assets. Lenders list their NFTs, setting a rental fee and duration, with options for collateral-based or the new collateral-free lending. Renters can then use these NFTs for the agreed time. While there's a minimal risk of delayed return by the renter, our platform mitigates the risk of theft. Renters are required to place a deposit (collateral) before renting any NFT. This ensures that if the NFT is not returned as agreed, the lender is compensated with the collateral. This system is designed to protect your assets and provide peace of mind during transactions.

Yes, with non-collateral lending, your NFT never leaves WeRent's platform. Renters get access rights, not possession, so there's no risk of theft. Once the rental period ends, access is automatically revoked.

During the NFT return process, there will be a 5% fee of the rent price.

For now, WE tokens cannot be used for renting or lending NFTs on WeRent. Transactions are facilitated using oUSDT on the Klaytn network, and USDT on Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon networks. WE tokens are currently designated for staking and lucky draw participation, but the platform may expand their utility in the future.

WeRent currently supports NFTs on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon, and Klaytn networks. Our platform is compatible with ERC-721 and KIP-17 token standards. While these are the networks we support at present, we remain open to the possibility of expanding our support to include additional chains in the future.

No platform can be considered entirely risk free. The risks related to the WeRent platform are smart contract risks (risk of a bug within the protocol's code) and liquidation risk.

The renter (borrower) must check the validity and the contract address of the NFT. The user must directly check the NFT on OpenSea, Rarible, etc.
